Fresh Peach Dairy Ice Cream
Serves 6

350 g (12 oz) fresh ripe peaches
300 ml (1/2 pint) milk
grated rind and juice of 1 lemon
300 ml (10 fl oz) fresh whipping cream

1. Quarter the peaches and remove the skins, discarding the stones.

2. Roughly slice the peaches into the blender, add the milk, lemon rind and juice and the fresh cream. Blend well until the mixture is quite smooth.

3. Pour out into ice-cube trays or a shallow freezer container, freeze until firm.

4. Allow to soften at room temperature for about 30 minutes before serving. Serve plain or with a chocolate sauce.

To freeze Overwrap according to type of container.
