2 cups white sauce
4 cups salsify, cooked and sliced
2 tbsp each finely chopped celery leaves, parsley, green
pepper, and onion breadcrumbs butter
Mix the salsify, white sauce, celery leaves, parsley, green pepper, and onion. Pour into a buttered gratin dish, sprinkle with breadcrumbs and dot with butter. Bake for about 20 minutes at Gas 5 (190C) 375F until browned on top.
