Broccoli with Poppy Seeds and Orange
Serves 4 as a side dish
450 g (1 lb) purple sprouting broccoli
25 g (1 oz) butter
grated rind of 1 small orange
1 - 2 tsp poppy seeds
2 - 3 tbsp sour cream
1. Cook the broccoli in boiling salted water until just done, but still slightly crisp. Drain well, then return to the pan and stir in the butter, orange rind and poppy seeds until the butter is melted and the broccoli is well coated.
2. Place in a warm dish and spoon the sour cream on top.
